Starfield Player Builds Hilarious Windows Mouse Cursor Spaceship, Impressing the Community
A Starfield player has created a unique and whimsical spaceship design, turning their ship into a giant Windows mouse cursor. Utilizing the game's built-in Ship Builder or third-party mods, players can customize their spaceships to suit their creative desires, and this player's design is one of the most amusing to date.
Since its highly anticipated release in 2023, Starfield has given players the chance to explore a vast sci-fi universe. While the game was well-received at launch, player engagement has declined somewhat in recent months. However, dedicated fans have kept the community lively by sharing their impressive and quirky in-game creations. One such creation is a spaceship that looks like a Windows mouse cursor.
A player on Reddit shared images of their spaceship, aptly named the "Double-click Destroyer." The ship is white with angled wings and a narrow lower section, closely resembling a mouse cursor. The post features the spacecraft gliding through space with its boosters, as well as sitting stationary on a surface. The player mentioned that their spaceship was made using several mods, including Better Ship Part Flips, Better Ship Part Snaps, Matilija's Aerospace, VikingTek, and 1-of-a-Kind Ships.
Starfield Player’s Cursor-Themed Spaceship Impresses the Community
The Windows mouse cursor spaceship quickly gained attention on Reddit, with many Starfield fans praising the player's creativity. Some comments highlighted the ship's symmetrical design, something not found in the original Windows cursor. One user joked, "At least this one is symmetrical." Another added, "Windows exploring where no man has gone before," while someone else quipped, "Getting an edge in combat."
This isn’t the first time a Starfield spaceship design has captured the imagination of the community. Previous creations include a Pokémon-themed ship and even a spaceship resembling a shampoo bottle. In addition to imaginative ship designs, other fan concepts, such as a flora-and-fauna database for better exploration, have also received positive feedback from the game's fanbase.
With the Shattered Space DLC launching on September 30, Starfield may be able to rejuvenate its player base. This expansion brings new weapons, bosses, factions, and more, offering fresh content to the space exploration game. Whether the DLC can reignite interest in the game, similar to how Elden Ring's Shadow of the Erdtree DLC revitalized its player base, remains to be seen.
