The fans presented an updated version of Warcraft II based on the Warcraft III: Reforged engine
WarcraftThe LoreCraft Designs team released an updated version of Warcraft II using the Warcraft III: Reforged engine. The new project, named Warcraft: Chronicles of the Second War, currently only includes the campaign featuring the orcs from Tides of Darkness. However, the fan group plans to add the Rise of the Alliance campaign, focusing on humans.
This modification can be downloaded from ModDB or HiveWorkshop. An original copy of Warcraft III: Reforged from Blizzard is required for installation. The development and transfer of the first campaign to the new engine took over three years, and the developers will now focus on fixing errors in the near future.
In addition to improved graphics, Warcraft: Chronicles of the Second War offers an updated soundtrack and enhanced gameplay features. The launch trailer is available below.
