Unveiling Genshin Impact Version 4.4: Surprising 4-Star Additions, New Zone, and Catalyst Debuts Await!
Genshin Impact has unveiled the Event Wishes for Phase 1 of Version 4.4, introducing surprises like Faruzan as a 4-Star character outside the Wanderer's banner for the first time. Despite the Lantern Rite controversy in 2024, Version 4.4 promises a substantial new zone and the debut of Xianyun and Gaming, offering players exciting content. While the Lantern Rite rewards may not meet all expectations, the overall content in Version 4.4 is noteworthy.
Alongside the commencement of drip marketing for Chiori, Genshin Impact has disclosed detailed information about the Event Wishes starting on January 31, 2024. While Nahida and Xianyun were already known, the community has now been introduced to the 4-Star characters accompanying the 5-Star Catalysts in the first half of the update.
As per the official Genshin Impact Twitter account, Phase 1 will showcase Noelle, Gaming, and Faruzan as the featured 4-Star characters in Version 4.4. While Gaming's inclusion was expected, Noelle and Faruzan brought a pleasant surprise to the community. Noelle, significantly empowered in Version 4.2, and Faruzan, a crucial fixture in many Anemo teams, especially at full Constellations.
While it remains to be seen if Faruzan synergizes well with Xianyun unlike the Pyro Claymore Gaming, both characters make ideal support options for Xiao in Genshin Impact's upcoming re-run in the second half of Version 4.4. While the official announcement of the 4-Star characters for Phase 2 is pending, preload files may hold the key.
