FaZe Clan's captain, Finn "karrigan" Andersen, shared his impressions after the first LAN game of CS2 and expressed hope for the game's promising future. Andersen emphasized that, despite its imperfections, CS2 shows the potential to outshine the renowned CS:GO, given dedicated effort and development.
"At the CS2 LAN tournament, I felt a significant improvement compared to other games. Instances where players die through walls now occur much less frequently. I also noticed some new and interesting elements in the game, like the HE grenade, as well as a more tactical approach. While there is room for improvement, we all remember how CS:GO became a great game, and with the feedback and open-mindedness of players, CS2 has the potential to be even better. However, achieving such heights will require a lot of effort and time," stated karrigan.
Additionally, it's worth noting that an American-Canadian duo became Fortnite world champions, earning an impressive prize of $1 million. This achievement underscores the growing interest in esports and the opportunities available to professional gamers on the global stage.
