At BlizzCon 2023, Blizzard not only shared news for Overwatch 2 players but also released the first teaser for a hero previously known only as "Space Ranger." Since then, players have eagerly awaited more information, with some even spotting clues about the hero’s identity when a small spaceship appeared on the Dorado map. Now that Juno has been officially revealed, one observant player noticed a unique aspect of her weapon.

Reddit user XylophoneDonger pointed out that the face on Juno's gun changes based on her target. In Overwatch 2's Practice Range, they demonstrated that when Juno aims at an ally, her weapon displays a blue smiley face. However, when she targets an opponent, the weapon shows an angry red face. If there are no allies or enemies nearby, the weapon remains neutral without any visual alert.

Juno: Overwatch 2's New Support Hero

This subtle detail has intrigued Overwatch 2 players, with some wondering if Juno's weapon could detect an invisible Sombra. The original poster clarified that Juno cannot counter Sombra, who is one of the most disliked characters in the Overwatch 2 community.

Juno's weapon, called the Mediblaster, is her primary fire. It allows players to heal allies or damage opponents, functioning similarly to Ana's weapon. Players eager to try out Juno’s abilities need to act quickly, as the testing period for the new hero ends on July 21. After this trial period, Juno will officially join the Overwatch 2 roster with the launch of Season 12 on August 20.
