The release of the Monster Hunter game by Niantic, known for their project Pokémon Go, is expected in September
Niantic has developed and will release this project for iOS and Android devices worldwide on September 14.
The game Monster Hunter Now was announced in March, with Capcom, the owner of the IP, describing it as "an accessible hunting experience that can be enjoyed in everyday life."
In the game, players will take on the role of hunters and embark on an exciting adventure where they will hunt lifelike monsters that appear in the real world.
A showcase of Monster Hunter Now was held on Thursday and can be viewed below.
It featured gameplay reveals and details about the monsters and weapons that will be available in the game.
Upon release, the game will feature 13 types of monsters:Great Jagras, Kulu-Ya-Ku, Pukei-Pukei, Barroth, Great Girros, Tobi-Kadachi, Jyuratodus, Paolumu, Anjanath, Rathian, Legiana, Rathalos, and Diablos.
The available weapons will include Sword & Shield, Great Sword, Long Sword, Hammer, Light Bowgun, and Bow.
Niantic has also confirmed several rewards that will be available to players at launch, depending on the number of users who pre-register for the game.
