Dota 2 Shake-Up: Team Aster Contemplates Roster Disbandment, Reveals Co-Founder BurNIng in Livestream Bombshell
The Dota 2 roster of Team Aster may have undergone dissolution, according to a revelation made by Xu "BurNIng" Zhilei, the co-founder of the club, during his personal livestream.
BurNIng did not rule out the possibility that the organization might refrain from forming a new roster in the future. Currently, neither the club nor the players have issued any official public statements regarding this matter.
The existing roster was assembled in November 2023 but faced setbacks as the team failed to qualify for any of the three qualifiers leading to the initial LAN tournaments of the season.
Established in 2018, Team Aster has secured victories in various small regional tournaments. Their most notable achievement at The International was a fourth-place finish in 2022. Over the course of their involvement, the Dota 2 rosters have amassed a total of $3.4 million in prize money.
