HLTV reports that the founder of Complexity expresses a desire to acquire the club from GameSquare
Jason Lake, the Chief Executive Officer and founder of the organization Complexity, has expressed his desire to acquire a club from the esports holding company GameSquare, as reported by the HLTV portal, citing information from its close sources.
According to journalists' reports, Lake initiated active searches for investors to finalize the deal after the announcement of FaZe's acquisition by GameSquare. It is believed that the holding company is interested in this deal, as owning two clubs with similar lineups in the same discipline might create a potential conflict of interests.
The Complexity organization was acquired by the holding company in the summer of 2021. According to experts' estimates, the deal cost the holding company $27 million.
