Following a recent update to the Call of Duty game client, players have discovered two key pieces of artwork for the game. Similar art was featured on promotional cans of the Monster Energy drink last month.

Now, the game's official Twitter account has posted a Microsoft Paint-style recreation of the image, with a message that they will "share their artistic abilities even more next week."

According to reports, Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 is a continuation of last year's game, Modern Warfare 2, developed by Sledgehammer Games.

It seemed that Activision confirmed this last month by stating that operators, weapons, and bundles from Modern Warfare 2 will be carried over into the new installment of the series this year, which has not yet been officially revealed.

It is also reported that maps and modes from Modern Warfare 2 will be included in the new game.
